Behind my house is property owned by the Bayberry Homeowners Association and declared by the original home builders as a Nature Conservancy. This narrow strip of land is full of Trees of Heaven and honeysuckle and both are killing off the native trees. Is there some way to force the Homeowners Association to rid this property of these invasive plants?
The trees and honeysuckle are hanging over my yard by as much as 20 feet in some places. I've talked with the Homeowners Association about this problem several times over the years and they seem to think there is no problem with having Trees of Heaven and the Honeysuckle on their property.
Any suggestions regarding the best way to deal with this problem? Thanks.
